Since the date LCCT are launched I always been wanting to see how does this LCCT really looks like. Thanks to Sing Ngibk from What’s Up Dude I am able to see the actual LCCT setup myself.

The Check-in counter, this Check-In Counter reminded me of the check-in counter in Kota Kinabalu, kinda naked I should say.

Air Asia launched Skybus services from KL Sentral to LCC Terminal to compliment their moving from KLIA to KLIA LCC Terminal as of the 24th March 2006.

Location of the Skybus Terminal is at the lower ground floor of KL Sentral facing the open air car park and Jalan Tun Sambanthan.

Skybus only charging RM9 for a one way journey which is cheaper than any taxi or train ride to KLIA. Skybus will be fully operational from 24th March 2006.

Schedule for Skybus to and from KLIA LCC Terminal

They would have no travellators, no escalators, no aerobridges so its a very healthy Airport indeed! What you expecting?? You are flying low cost you know?! LOL!

AirAsia – Asia’s leading low fare airline will move to a new home at the LCC Terminal (Low Cost Carier Terminal - LCCT) in Kuala Lumpur on the evening of 23 March 2006. However, ONLY selected flights will be arriving at the new LCC-T on this day (Please refer to chart below). If you are on these flights listed below, please remember to arrange your transportation at the right terminal.

And from 24 March 2006 onwards, ALL AirAsia flights from/to Kuala Lumpur will operate at the new LCC-T.
